Alison Quinlan

Founder and Principal Teacher Namaste House Yoga Studio

Alison is an international yoga teacher holding an advanced E- RYT 500 designation from Yoga Alliance. Alison is also a Yoga Alliance Certified Education Provider.

As a former dance student she has always had a passion for movement.

She is a firm believer in the power of physical expression, and helps her students connect with the breath, intuition and the present moment to find a sense of home within the body.

She has decades of experience in many yoga styles including Vinyasa, Sivananda, Ashtanga, Iyengar Yoga plus Somatic Movement combining all disciplines in her Vinyasa Yoga classes.


Dividing her time between Ireland and India she continually studies old and new yogic traditions and implements them in both her practice and teaching.


In every class, Alison is best known for bringing her sense of humour, music, song, dance and her extensive knowledge of the healing field.

Alison also specialises in Yoga for Trauma and has been working at the Gary Kelly Cancer Support Centre for a a number of years as a holistic therapist.


Namaste House is the space that she took time to find, rebuild, and nurture.

It is the perfect home for their yoga tribe.



David Quinlan

Founder and Iyengar Yoga Teacher Namaste House

David has worked in Irish Arts Sector for almost twenty years, he has an eye for aesthetics and a love of music and movement.


David's yoga journey began as a shared passion with his wife Alison. Weekly yoga classes led to yoga holidays, followed by Teacher Trainings. He completed a 200 Hour Vinyasa Teacher Training and a Yin Foundation Training with Josh Summers, followed by a 300 Hour Training in Astanga and Hatha Yoga.


David is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher and continues to study in the Iyengar Yoga system. This is his true passion, finding ways for each person to achieve their best practice to suit their bodies.


The therapeutic nature of this form of yoga offered David a place to refine his personal practice and teaching skills.

David is also a qualified as a Pilates Instructor and is constantly improving his skills with workshops and Intensive trainings in Europe and India.


David is a regular guest teacher with YogaMea in Italy.

A perfect chance to combine his passion for yoga and an excellent plate of pasta.



Courtney Griffin

Hatha Yoga Teacher - ERYT 200

Since her teens, Courtney has been drawn to yoga and dabbled with a few different styles and classes.  Initially intrigued by the physical benefits of building strength and flexibility in the body, she quickly fell in love with the mental benefits. 

The meditative quality of yoga encouraged a regular practice both on and off the mat, giving release from the hectic day to day schedule of commuting and city working life. 

In her classes she is committed to ensuring students get their own moment of calmness as well as providing them with a safe, playful space to align the postures with breath, so they leave feeling refreshed and reconnected to mind, body and spirit. 

Courtney has wonderful patience with people starting their yoga journey, her Hatha Joy Yoga classes are popular across all age groups.


Arianna Butler

Yoga, Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher  RYT 200

Arianna Butler is a yoga teacher who has a love of the quieter practices - Meditation, Slow Vinyasa Flow, Restorative and Yin Yoga.


In 2023 she developed a programme of yoga classes for Teachers and SNAs  customised to aid the stresses of being a Primary  School Teacher with yoga, meditation & breath work.


Join her on a journey of self-care and mindfulness designed to bring balance and renewed energy into everyday life.


Arianna completed her 200 Hour Training with Namaste House Yoga school. She has a gentle and nurturing nature, perfectly placed to serve her fellow Primary School Teaching community.



Michelle Flynn

Vinyasa Yoga Teacher - RYT 200

Michelle is a Yoga Alliance  Certified Yoga teacher, trained in the Vinyasa flow style.

She teaches  Beginners Yoga, as well as Vinyasa for different levels.


Michelle is also a Ballet Teacher, who trained under American Ballet Theatre’s National Curriculum.

 

In my yoga classes, I organically create dynamic fluid yoga sequences infused with yogic spirituality, empowering students to break patterns of rigidity and remove emotional and physical blockages.

 

You can expect my classes to be joyful, soulful and beneficial for the mind and body!



Orla Doyle

Vinyasa , Yin & Restorative Yoga Teacher RYT 200

Orla developed a passion for yoga after she began practising during a particularly difficult time personally. She quickly became aware of the significant benefits; not only of the physical practice, but of how it seamlessly seeped into her mental and emotional well-being. 

 

Orla completed her Vinyasa Yoga 200hr teacher training in 2023 with a trip to India, and has since added a few more feathers to her bow with further trainings in Restorative, Nidra and Yin Yoga.

 

Orla loves to create an inclusive and fun atmosphere in her classes. She believes that yoga is a practice that can be enjoyed and be of benefit to everyone, regardless of age or body type.

Her outgoing and friendly approach promises to leave you feeling restored and revitalised after a class.


Tracey O'Brien

Vinyasa and Yin Yoga Teacher RYT 200

Tracey’s love of yoga started over 25 years ago . She completed her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training with Namaste House in 2022 and has delighted in sharing her love of this practice since then.

 

Tracey has worked in a therapeutic capacity in community services and education for 25 years. Much of the work and study she has done is in the area of trauma . Her training in Multicultural Wellness practices that help address trauma in the body and her yoga training has supported her personally and professionally. Tracey blends these practises and shares them in her work as a school counsellor, group facilitator and yoga teacher.

 

Tracey's Vinyasa Yoga classes offers guidance the class to move with the flow of the breath, use props for space and support and to bring attention, curiosity and care to the sensations of the mind and body.

Her teaching style offers the space to cultivate a sense of stability, strength and calm.Expect to leave her class feeling grounded and at ease with a take away practice for self care.


Maria White

Vinyasa Yoga Teacher RYT 200

Maria White has been practising yoga for over 10 years and has a love of Vinyasa and Yin Yoga that is infectious.

Maria is well travelled, adventurous and vivacious and this shows in her classes.


She believes in the mental and physical benefits of yoga and supports the idea that yoga is to be enjoyed by everyone, especially the ones who don’t think they need it


Maria is a Primary School Principal with a wealth of experience in education.

She is born to share knowledge with compassion. Her yoga classes are filled with good humour and creative sequencing.
